Our new scrapbook room - a spot of sun

From under the dark canopy of the ancient forest

out into the inspiring "Morning Sunlight" (our new paint color).

I'm so happy with our new room and especially my scrapbook nook. Matt was our in house hero, co-painter and shelver extraordinaire.

The real color is somewhere between the photo above and below.

I never cared about the lack of beauty in our exercise setup in our old room, but now that it looks so pretty everywhere else, this little corner bothers me more. Until we move our guest bed into this room, I won't be doing too much decorating.

I especially love all the black wires tangled around the treadmill, TV, and filing cabinet. Our new room looks so nice, it's almost feels like vandalism to have that in there. Same with the greed chair.

Oh happy color! Hurray for husbands who paint (mine won't but he babysits for me so I can) and for new scrapbooking nooks. Definitely a spot of sun.

It looks so nice! And I am amazed at how organized all your shelves look. It puts me to shame.

Looks great!!!! I'm definitely jealous that you have a painter husband....I asked Dave to help me roll once and he thought it was a trap for future painting projects :)

I love it! It looks like something in a magazine. It inspires me to go organize and paint something. So happy for you!
