Soooo tiiired. . .

Last night I was up for about 4 hours with just a few 15 or 20 minute breaks between feedings, diaperings, burpings, etc. Then this morning, Charity would not go to sleep no matter what I tried. She would rest for a few daring minutes, tempting me into doing something, like shower, or lay down, and she would be crying again in minutes.

By lunch time, I could barely keep my eyes open and my voice in normal volume range. Finally at 1:30 she nodded off, and so did I. I slept for 2 1/2 hours without batting an eye. Yesterday, the same thing, a blissful 2 1/2 hour rest while my sweet husband held down the fort.

Please, someone remind me that babies do start sleeping at least somewhat normally before too long. I could use a reminder.

Yikes! Hang in there. Send your kids over to my house anytime.

It WILL get better. I hope that it does soon for your sake. I remember those days and how hard they are. I wished I lived closer so I could come lend a hand.

If Charity is like your other kids, she should be sleeping through the night around 2 months, right? You can do it!

I know, its hard to remember all the stages. I seem to remember 6 weeks being the magical number. But every baby is different. It IS worth it, though and you definitely know all about that. The first few weeks are hard and then somehow things seem to fall into a groove. I know you can do it!
