Rexburg Temple

A few weeks ago we went to visit my Mom in Idaho Falls. We spent one morning at the Rexburg Temple Open House. The day was very pretty, bright, blue sky and single digit temperatures! The temple was beautiful, peaceful and wonderful.

Due to President Hinckley's death, they postponed the dedication for one week. My sister (also in Idaho Falls) told me that there were 12 weddings scheduled for that week. AAhh. What would you do? Several went to the Idaho Falls temple, but others opted to postpone. What would you do? I can't imagine the pain of rescheduling everything for a week later.

P.S. My spell checking isn't working on blogger. Anyone else having that problem? Just beware, I never claimed to win any spelling bees.

spell check wasn't working for me either. I did a cut and paste into Word just to be sure, and it's a good thing I did. "Desireable" would be such an embarrassing thing for an English person to have on her blog.

What a cute little family and a beautiful temple. Doesn't it just make you want to move up this way!

I haven't noticed my spell check, so hopefully I didn't make any big mistakes. I'd probably try to go to a close temple, but if there wasn't a temple close by, I'd have to think long and hard. It would depend on how many people had airline tickets...

My spell check hasn't been working for a while now. Grr!!

As for the wedding, Yikes! I don't know. But why would you schedule your wedding at a temple that wasn't already open. That seems a little silly to me in the first place. Oh well, glad it wasn't me.

It's a very beautiful temple! But then again, aren't they all?

Cute picture of your fam! It was really cold that day, but a good time! I'm going to the dedication on Sunday.
