A Beautiful Inauguration

Image from msnbc.com

What a wonderful inauguration! It is so inspiring to see the passing of the baton in this great nation. What a blessing to live here.

An interesting article here about the changing of the actual house part of the White House. They have 5 or 6 hours to move it all out, paint, redo, and move it in. Amazing.

Wonderful? I don't know. We do live in a wonderful nation, but, today is more aptly defined as a day of mourning.

Even though I seriously disagree with some of his policies, I still maintain that the freedom and hope that pervade a peaceful inauguration is awesome. I hope our country prospers under our new President.

I, too, thought it was beautiful. It always amazes me the orderly process this country has to just keep things going. Fun to see how everyone since George Washington has stood and gone through the same process. Nice to live in a country like this.

I think it was really exciting to see the progress we've made in this country with having a man of a different race make it to office. He certainly has a smooth talking writer for his speeches. I'm really grateful that we don't have a big war every time a President comes into office.
