I wish I sewed

One talent that I wish I had more of and used often, was sewing. I learned some when I was younger. I made a skirt, shirt, button holes, collars, etc. But I've forgotten. Here are a few things that look really easy to try, maybe I will.

Little girl's ruffled skirt from Grand Revival Design
Lula Louise's reversible shoulder bag
Many kinds of headbands from Altered Cloth

This post reminded me of some cute cloth shoes that I saw recently. They can be found here: http://stardustshoes.blogspot.com/2006/10/cloth-shoe-pattern.html

(Sorry, I don't know how to do all that fancy HTML stuff to make a nice, neat link.)

You are a lifesaver! :) At girls night, one of the girls had a fancy reversible bag she bought for $50!! (YIKES) So I was thinking why not make it? But I'm no pattern guru, and this is just what I'm looking for! Hooray!
